Previously Shaw did not hold an offer from the Wolverines, in fact, they weren't really looking at him at all, despite Shaw being a 4 star cornerback. But with a little help from an Oklahoma commit, Joshua was able to get in contact with UM and now they have offered scout.com's #16 corner.
He already has three official visits set up, and the last two will go to either Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee or Penn State. Michigan is like the late arrival in this recruitment, but it looks like we are rising on his list.
From reading interviews with Shaw, it really seems like he is into Michigan, the history of the program, and the future with Coach Rod. I'd actually be a bit surprised if we didn't get an official visit.
Shaw plans to finalize his officials sometime in September, with a committment date around Christmas time. He's also just been invited to the Under Armour All Star Game.
